The Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) program is a wage subsidy initiative available to Canadian businesses and non-profits that offer trucking- and logistics-focused work placement opportunities to students for a period of 4 to 16 weeks. Funding through this program covers up to 50% of the wages (maximum of $5,000) for each new placement. This initiative is part of the Government of Canada's Student Work Placement Program (SWPP).
