About

This program offers wage subsidies to employers who hire post-secondary students for paid work placements. Employers may receive 50% of wages, up to $5,000, for each net new placement, or 70% of wages, up to $7,000, for students from under-represented groups such as women in STEM, Indigenous students, newcomers, persons with disabilities, visible minorities, and first-year students. The program is currently accepting applications for Winter 2026 (January 1 to March 31, 2026).
