This program provides a wage subsidy to Canadian businesses and non-profits that offer film or digital media-focused work placement opportunities to students for up to 12 weeks. The program covers 50% of the wages (up to $5,000) for each new placement, and 70% of the wages (up to $7,000) for placements involving under-represented groups. This initiative is part of the Government of Canada's Student Work Placement Program (SWPP). Organizations must be a member of the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA).
