The WILWorks program provides funding to eligible Canadian manufacturing businesses to hire post-secondary students for internships. It provides 50% of the wages (up to a maximum of $5,000) for each new placement, and 70% of the wages (up to a maximum of $7,000) for each new placement for under-represented groups. This program is funded by the Government of Canada's Student Work Placement Program (SWPP). This program is currently accepting for the winter 2026 placement term (January 1 to March 31).
