The Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) program is a wage subsidy initiative available to Canadian businesses and non-profits that offer trucking- and logistics-focused work placement opportunities to students for a period of 4 to 16 weeks. The program covers 50% of the wages (up to $5,000) for each new placement, and 70% of the wages (up to $7,000) for placements involving under-represented groups. This initiative is part of the Government of Canada's Student Work Placement Program (SWPP).
