About

This program provides wage subsidies to employers who hire post-secondary students for paid work placements across Canada, offering 50% of wages up to $5,000 per placement. Eligible placements require Canadian private sector or non-profit employers to offer paid, compliant, work-integrated learning opportunities, while students must be domestic, enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary program, legally able to work in Canada, and not closely related to the employer. This program is currently accepting applications for work placements taking place in Summer and Fall 2026.
