The R&D Partnership Fund – C/AV and Smart Mobility stream supports projects for developing, testing, validating, and demonstrating connected and autonomous vehicle (C/AV) and smart mobility technologies. Funding must be matched by applicants and/or private sector partners at a minimum ratio of 2:1. Eligible applicants include Ontario-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with projects involving at least one partner, such as another SME, academic institution, non-profit organization, Indigenous community, municipality, or similar entity.
