The R&D Partnership Fund - C/AV and Smart Mobility stream supports projects that are focused on the development, testing, validation, and demonstration of connected and autonomous vehicle (C/AV) and smart mobility technologies. All funds must be matched by a minimum 2:1 contribution from applicants and/or private sector partners. Eligible applicants are small and medium enterprises (SME) with operations in Ontario, who have projects with at least one other partner which can include other SMEs, academic institutions, not-for-profit organizations, Indigenous communities, and municipalities, among others.
