EVOL (formerly known as Femmessor) offers this loan to businesses undertaking succession, growth, acquisition or transfer projects. Entrepreneurs applying for a loan must be from a community that is under-represented in entrepreneurship (women, racialized people, immigrants, First Nations, Inuit, LGBTQ2+ community and people with disabilities) and own at least 25% of the shares and votes or provide a business plan to ensure that threshold is met in the future.
