The R&D Partnership Fund - C/AV and Smart Mobility stream supports projects related to the development, testing, validating and demonstration of connected and autonomous vehicle (C/AV) and smart mobility technologies. All funds must be matched by a minimum 2:1 contribution from  applicants and/or private sector partners. Eligible applicants are small and medium enterprises (SME) with operations in Ontario, with projects with at least one other partner which can include other SMEs, academic institutions, not-for-profit organizations, Indigenous communities, and municipalities, among others.
